This dresser makeover is pretty extreme don’t you think? From dark and dreary to light and airy with a very Scandinavian vibe.
The dresser has great classic bones but the original vintage glossy dark finish needed to go.
I tried a new stripper on the drawer fronts as they are solid wood called EZ Strip paint and varnish stripper. It is water based and low VOC.

Once I scraped off the finish as best I could (middle) I power sanded to bare wood (lower). Such a huge difference from the original.
