Perfect for these hot summer nights! Goes together quickly and not too heavy! Serving it tonight along side some grilled BBQ pork chops.
-Yum. A suggestion for chris rucker whose husband hates mayonnaise – Mom used to make potato (and pasta salads) with a good commercial italian dressing, resulting in salads that were more “German-style”. She did not use sugar in salads. She did use mayonnaise in egg salad. All of her salads were delicious and tangy!
-Any pasta will do, just use whatever you have on hand.
As for replacing the mayo, I suppose you could use whatever you normally swap it out with (yogurt, etc.), but once you mix the mayo with the other ingredients in this recipe, it doesn’t taste like mayo anymore, but like a salad dressing
I use a 1 lb. box of pasta and I’ll update the recipe with that info – thanks!
-My husband hates mayo based salads.. actually just hates mayo. Any suggestions for what I could sub for that such as greek yogurt or canola oil, etc? I make my grandma’s german potato salad for him just use oil & lemon juice & leave out mayo on his. Thanks for your help!
