DIY Magic Stain Remover

A few close ups of what I was working with. Remember these stains had previously been treated using a store bought stain remover and then washed and dried.

Begin by mixing together equal parts hydrogen peroxide, and blue dawn dish soap. I used 2 tbsp of each and that was just the right amount for all of these garments.

Then add in an equal amount of baking soda. In this case it was 2 tbsp again.

Give it a mix until equally combined. I like to use an old toothbrush to apply the mixture. This way I can give the stain a little scrub, before the stain remover starts working it’s magic.

Apply the mixture to the stain and let it sit for a few hours or overnight before washing as usual.

And here are the finished clean clothes!

*In some rare cases, depending on the stain you might need to treat it a second time (there is a barely noticeable stain on the pink shirt) but to me it’s completely worth it if removes the stains and saves the garment*
