The Best Whipped Cream Frosting

2 cups (1 pint) heavy whipping cream, chilled
1 cup powdered sugar
4 teaspoons cold water
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon unflavored powdered gelatin

Add cold water to a small bowl and sprinkle gelatin over the top. Let sit 5 minutes. Once set, microwave briefly, 10 seconds, to turn gelatin to a liquid.
Meanwhile, add cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla to a medium bowl and beat with an electric mixer on low for 1 minute. Turn mixer to high and slowly pour the gelatin mixture in.
Continue beating until medium-stiff peaks form and desired consistency is reached. Spread on a cake, cupcakes, or over berries, and enjoy!
