1 – The Best Homemade Chili

This was AMAZING! cooked on low for 4.5 hours in a 5 quart crockpot. Added a little extra cumin and chili powder. Had 2.3 lbs of ground beef. Also used one can kidney beans and 1 can cannelini beans. The combo was very good. Will make this often!

2 – Honey Buttermilk Bread

Fantastic recipe. I have made it twice within a week. I am not the bread eater in the family, my wife is, and she doesn’t want me to stop making it. It raises nicely, is very moist, and isn’t heavy and compact like most whole wheat breads. I have done it both times completly in my bread maker which is one of the less expensive ones.

3 – Paula Deen’s “Not Yo’ Mama’s Banana Pudding” ???
I have been making this recipe for over two years for family and large parties and have NEVER had any leftovers. People get upset if I don’t bring this with me! I use 1-3.4oz. pkg of French Vanilla Instant pudding mix, and 1/2 of a 3.4oz. pkg of Banana Instant pudding mix, only 1/2 of the can of condensed milk to keep it from being overly sweet. I do also use more bananas, about six cover the bottom of a 9X13 pan. Everything else is the same.

4 – Texas Turtle Sheet Cake???
This cake is delicious and simple to make! Two tips:#1: Have your frosting ingredients set out and ready to go. After stirring in the powdered sugar, DO work quickly to spread it on the cake. It does become like fudge consistency as it cools. #2 If you have not checked to see how level your oven is, you may want to do that before you start. An unlevel surface does show alot on a sheet cake. Wonderful recipe!! You won’t be disappointed!! Thanks!!!!!!!

5 – ROASTED GARLIC MUSHROOMS???
We LOVED this. I guesstimated on the garlic as I buy it pre-minced in large jars. Added a few extra mushrooms–next time a whole 8oz package would definitely be good. I was worried about the egg fully cooking, but it did (only added one). This will definitely go into our rotation!
