Caramel Pecan Pound Cake

Ingredients
1 c butter
1 lb box light brown sugar
1 c sugar
5 eggs
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
3 c all purpose flour
1 c milk
1 Tbsp vanilla
1 can(s) finely chopped pecans
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 325 degree.
2. In a large bowl, cream butter and brown sugar thoroughly at medium speed.Gradually add sugar and continue creaming.
3. Add egg one at a time,beating well after each addition.
4. In a medium bowl,combine baking powder,salt and flour.Add flour mixture alternately with milk to cream mixture,beginning and ending with flour.Blend well after each addition.
5. Stir in vanilla and peacans.
6. Pour into a greased and floured tube or bundt pan.
7. Bake for 1 hour and 30 minutes.Let cake cool for 15 minutes before removing from pan.If desired,dust lightly with powdered sugar.
