THIS IS WHAT IT MEANS IF YOU SEE A WHITE FIBER IN AN EGG!

Eggs are one of the real natural superfoods – they are incredibly nutritionally rich and beneficial for our health. However, not all eggs are equal – you must know how to pick the right egg. Luckily, there is a simple way to learn if the eggs you bought are not expired and safe to eat.

It’s very important to know that a simple look at the inside of the egg can reveal a lot about its state. Whenever we decide on eating eggs, we break them without detailed examination. However, what’s inside the egg is very important and can tell you if that particular egg is really healthy.

If you notice a kind of fiber attached to the yolk and white, it means that the egg is fresh and safe for consumption. This fiber is called a germ cell and may appear on either side of the yolk or in the center. Every egg has an expiry date – if there’s no germ cell in yours, you probably shouldn’t eat it.

Now that you know how to check your eggs for being fresh, we’re sure you’ll always check them before preparing them. Thanks for reading and don’t forget to share!
