  7. Add another layer of bread. Pour the rest of the egg mixture on top and sprinkle with the rest of the cinnamon and brown sugar mixture.
  8. Cover tightly and chill in the refrigerator overnight.
  9. In the morning, preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  10. Bake French toast covered for 30 minutes and then uncovered for 10-15 more minutes.
  11. Sprinkle with powdered sugar just before serving if desired.
