Pumpkin cranberry bread with orange glaze

This is a really nice moist bread, wonderful with a cup of tea, coffee or a big glass of milk. It says “Autumn” with every bite
I made this last week, and WoW! It was absolutely perfect, as written. I might try brushing on the glaze instead of drizzling it on, as someone else mentioned. It’s nice to not even have to pull out the mixer, too. I’m planning to make more this week, will give some as gifts. Thank you so much for the recipe!
-I wanted everyone to know how it went for me and baking. I have made two batches of this already and it is for thanksgiving. I made the first batch by following recipe. My fiance and I thought it needed a little bit of ajustment,so the second batch I made with craisins and I used a brush to put the glaze on instead of scooping it on. Let me tell you what a diferece that made! Second batch is the favorite, the family is already requesting it for christmas! This recipe is a keeper 🙂
-My mom showed me a recipe with the same name today (without the glaze), from a recipe she found in a magazine. The only difference I see is in the spice (recipe she has breaks it down into ginger, cinnamon & cloves) and the amount of cranberries ( hers – 1 cup fresh cranberries). Funny that I saw this one too, since, before today, I’d never heard of mixing pumpkin and cranberries in a bread/cake. Perhaps something’s giving me a nudge.
