Method 2: Vinegar
INGREDIENTS
White vinegar
PREPARATION
1. Cover the object with white vinegar. If the object does not hold liquid, place it in a large container or bucket and cover with vinegar.
2. Soak the object overnight.
3. Drain the vinegar and wipe the object dry. If you have any particularly tough spots of rust, scrub them with a rag or brush dipped in vinegar.
4. Wash, dry, and use as normal.
Method 3: Soap And Potato
INGREDIENTS
Dish soap
Slice of potato
PREPARATION
1. Dip the potato slice in dish soap.
2. Scrub the object with the potato slice until the rust has rubbed off.
3. Wash, dry, and use as normal.
Method 4: Baking Soda And Water
INGREDIENTS
Baking soda
Water
PREPARATION
1. Generously sprinkle baking soda over the rusted object until it is covered in a thick layer.
Pour just enough water over the baking soda to create a thin paste.
2. Using a scrubbing pad or brush, scrub the mixture on the object until all rust has been wiped away.
3. Wash, dry, and use as normal.
