Step one: I cut 8” strips of this plywood. (DIY tip) This is a great way to save some $$!
Step two: Once all of the strips were cut, I added these little 1x4s to the ends of the plywood for some added depth.
Here’s another cool trick for you! Pieces of this yardstick made for the perfect spacers. In the past I’ve also used nickles 🙌🏼 works great!
Step three: Fill the nail holes with some wood filler and then sand lightly.
Then brush on a fresh coat of paint (we chose white) and 😍🙌🏼. That’s it! Hope you like it, and maybe give it a try yourself!
