Breakfast Sausage Sliders

INGREDIENTS
24 ounces ground breakfast sausage
12 Hawaiian dinner rolls
8 large eggs, scrambled
1 cup Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
8 slices American cheese
1/2 cup butter, melted
1/4 cup maple syrup

PREPARATION
Preheat oven to 350°F and prepare a baking sheet with non-stick spray.
Press the ground sausage into a large rectangle on the prepared tray, roughly the size of the dinner rolls. Bake until cooked through, 15-20 minutes.
Meanwhile, using a serrated knife, cut the rolls in half lengthwise without breaking them apart. Place bottom half of the rolls in a 7×10-inch baking dish. Set the tops aside.
Scoop scrambled eggs onto rolls in dish and top with shredded Monterey Jack cheese. Arrange cooked sausage over the top and top with American cheese slices. Place top buns on top.
Mix together maple syrup and melted butter in a small bowl and brush the mixture over the top of the rolls. Allow sauce to drip down sides and into bottom; use entire amount.
Bake until cheese is bubbly and melted, about 15-20 minutes. Serve and enjoy!
