Picnic, BBQ’s & Sumertime Family favorite. My Husband is a fan of “Bacon Cheeseburgers”, but he doesn’t like all the fat and grease, So I decided to experiment and this is what I came up with and is his favorite GRILLED CHEESEBURGER today. Hopefully you’ll try this and find it a keeper just as I did.
-Instead of water, I will use homemade beef stock, which I have in my freezer at all times. It’s so ez to make stock, and I’m using a byproduct of beef I’ve cooked anyway. I like to know what is in my food. If I make it myself, I know.
-You don’t want to do that. That was my Mom’s way of making burgers and it tended to dry them out. All the salt. Try it the way the recipe is written. I guarantee you’ll love them. I don’t make my burgers any other way now. When my daughter comes home from college she asks me to make these burgers. She never used to ask me to make burgers before I found this recipe.
-This is a revelation. Made it for lunch today. I didn’t have the seasoning mix mentioned, so I used homemade Emeril’s Essence instead. Tasted fantastic! Thanks
