Whenever we have to head out for golf, soccer, baseball, or any of the other dozens of sports my kids play, this is always on stock in the fridge and pantry. My husband always appreciates it when I make something at home rather than trying to get one of those wonderful concession hot dogs! I think the kids do too.
Ingredients
1 (14 ounce) package Hillshire Farm Smoked Sausage, diagonally cut into 1/4-inch slices
8 ounces Barilla pasta, cooked, drained
2 cups heavy cream
2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning
1/2 cup grated Kraft Parmesan cheese
Instructions
Prepare pasta according to package directions; drain and set aside.
Saute sausage in a large skillet over medium-high heat for 5 minutes, turning occasionally.
Add cream and Cajun seasoning; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer gently for 3-4 minutes or until mixture begins to thicken. Remove from heat, stir in Parmesan cheese. Add pasta to sauce and toss.
