How to Deep Clean Your Bathtub- No Scrubbing Required

As you can see the chrome fixtures have soap scum and water marks on them, and the tub itself is dull and in need of a good clean.

Start by plugging the drain in the tub and dump in the three ingredients directly into the tub. Give them a mix and add a little hot water if you find the mixture too thick. Then using a wet microfiber towel spread the mixture all over the tub and surround making sure every surface is coated. And then you walk away…. leave this sit for 1-2 hours and go enjoy something else.

After the two hours are up go back in and wipe the tub down with the microfiber cloth. I know I said no scrubbing, but this is just a wipe down to loosen everything up, you don’t need much effort. I then like to rinse everything off with hot water. You can see how shiny and clean the chrome fixtures are now.

And all of that gunk around the drain is completely gone.

The surround itself is also super shiny and squeaky clean! I love this method of cleaning out the tub. The solution melts away the grime and leaves you with a sparkling clean bathtub. The best part for me is that all of these ingredients aren’t full of harsh chemicals and the work required is very minimal.
