HOW TO CLEAN TOILET STAINS LIKE A PRO

When we were selling our old house years ago my son was only 5 years old. I wanted to make sure that he felt comfortable with the move. We read him books about moving and asked him to make a list of things he would like to have at his new house. I have heard that this makes kids feel like they have a say in the moving process even if they don’t get things from their list. They can be just like mom and dad and make lists about moving.

I expected a long list of things like keeping his room the same color or getting a bigger room (his room was tiny!) but he only asked for two things. A bigger toy room and a bathroom connected to his bedroom like what we had. After spending a few minutes trying not to laugh I explained to him that usually houses have one master bedroom and bath, not two.

You can only imagine his joy then when we found our house, a foreclosure in horrible shape, with two master suites. There is the big one downstairs that we use and a smaller one upstairs that we moved my son in. It’s been so wonderful for him to have his own bedroom and bathroom. He is responsible for keeping his bedroom and bathroom picked up and I rarely go in his bathroom. The problem came the other day when I went into his bathroom.

He was keeping the bathroom picked up, but not really cleaned. I don’t even want to guess the last time the toilet was scrubbed. So, not only was the toilet dirty but it also had a good deal of stains in the bowl too. I knew I could scrub at the stains with toilet cleaner and they still wouldn’t come off easily.
