How to clean grease with baby oil

I just put some oil on a paper towel and started rubbing the grease. And it came right off. Right off! I couldn’t believe it. That stubborn grease that wouldn’t come up with hours of scrubbing with hot soapy water, and here it comes off with a swipe of some baby oil. Figures.

On some of the spots, I did have to put a little elbow grease into and rub pretty hard, or even use my finger nail to get it up, but the baby oil helped removed it completely after that.

I haven’t had my microwave this shiny in years (don’t mind the crack under the handle the hubs refuses to admit he made….:) )

You can leave it oil covered. The plus to this, it’ll be easier to clean the grease off later because none will stick to it 🙂 The minus…dust and dog hair will cling to it more. And we all know about my dog and his hair, so that wasn’t going to happen lol.

So, next I just took my ‘all purpose’ cleaner (1 part vinegar, 2 parts water) and cleaned the oil right off. I did add a squirt of dish soap to this one mixture to help removed the oil.
