-Just had to write and complement you on this wonderful recipe! I made this last week for my daughter’s Junior Recital Reception and it turned out to be one of the best cakes, ever! I used Guinness Extra Stout beer and baked for 40 minutes in a bundt pan sprayed with Pam for baking. Let it cool an hr. on rack and it popped out, beautifully! I did add a sour cream drizzle just to dress it up and then decided to make again in my mini bundt pans and the rest in cupcake pans. Both times, it turned out wonderful and when I mentioned to college kids at reception what kind of cake it was, they dug in! Got requests for your recipe, too! Thank you so much for sharing, I will make this again and again!!!
-Absolutely love this cake! Deep rich chocolate taste, dense in texture and not too sweet. Not usually much of a cake lover, but can’t get enough of this one! Put a chocolate glaze over the top and crushed red, white, and green candy canes sprinkled on top for a Christmas treat! Thank you for this recipe! I will make it again and again!
-Made this a few times and will continue to make it . This was not just okay to me, it was wonderful. It is so full of flavor and very easy to make. Be sure not to over bake and it will be perfect for you as well.
