They are almost like a full blown quiche, without the crust though. A quiche is made with lots of eggs so it is packed with protein. This has dairy from the cheese and lots of nutrition from the spinach.
Of course, these could be changed up by adding meat to the quiche. Cube some ham slices or crumble a ration of bacon. Even sausage would taste awesome thrown in this dish.
