Creamy Ham Pasta Salad

During the hot summer months deli salads are an absolute staple in my house. Nothing hits the spot quite like a creamy pasta salad that you can snack on all week. And that is just what we have for you today! This Creamy Ham Pasta Salad comes together in a flash and only gets better as it chills in the fridge. If you’re looking for a crowd-pleasing recipe to start the summer off, let this be the one.

I opted for cavatappi pasta in this dish because those little curls are my favorite, but macaroni, bowtie, or any smaller pasta shape will do. You’ll want to cook your pasta just until it’s al dente, consult the package for the recommended cook time for your specific pasta. Drain off the water, run the noodles under cold water, and let them fully cool before assembling the salad.

For the dressing, tangy sour cream and mayo combine with zesty ranch seasoning, garlic powder, and black pepper for a creamy flavor that packs just the right amount of punch. Pour the dressing over the cooled pasta, diced ham, and sweet corn, then give it all a good toss until it’s evenly coated. Whether you’re hosting a summer barbecue or simply craving those nostalgic deli flavors, this Creamy Ham Pasta Salad is sure to hit the spot.
