Decide on a colorblock shape

I played around with shapes using a pencil, then taped off the final shape to prepare for paint. We originally played around with a column idea but ended up embracing the slope. We ran out of painter’s tape so I used some electrical tape as shown.

Apply the first coat of paint

Apply the second coat of paint

Remove the tape and touch up with a small brush

It took a while but worked out great!

Add shelves

Or whatever you’d like! We were pretty limited in our options due to the lower ceilings, but adding open shelves was perfect for this space.
