When I was a middle schooler I used to be in “foodie love” with the peanut butter brownies our school would sell. These generous sized brownies were made with peanut butter but has a slightly flaky crust, and totally moist inner.
I love peanut butter baked goods! There’s just something about the texture and flavor of peanut butter that makes it the perfect key ingredient in so many delicious desserts!

Piecing together the perfect peanut butter brownie recipe was not easy! I searched for one, but could only find peanut butter blondies, or cake brownies.

Chewy Peanut Butter brownies:
1/2 c. peanut butter of your choice,
1/3 c. butter or margine, softened,
2/3 c. sugar,
1/2 c. brown sugar packed,
2 eggs,
1/2 tsp. vanilla,
1 c. flour,
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp of salt
Preheat oven to 350 degree’s Grease or spray a 9 x 9 ” baking pan. In a med bowl cream together peanut butter and butter. Gradually blend in the sugars and eggs and vanilla, mix until fluffy . Combine flour, baking powder and salt, stir into p. butter mixure until well blended. Spread into prepared pan and bake 30 – 35 min or until the top springs back…Cut into squares and serve Enjoy!
