Blueberry Cream Cheese French Toast Casserole

This is a family favorite. It’s really for breakfast but it’s good enough for a dessert! This would be great for that special holiday breakfast! If you have a lot of people visiting for the holidays, you could double the recipe and make 2 pans. I have also posted a sugar free version of this recipe, so you can decide to use which one fits into your diet.
-I made this French Toast this pass Saturday for my family that came from out of town and Oh my goodness, it is so good, we couldn’t get enough of it! Just one tip you may have to keep it in the oven longer than the recipe calls to prevent it from being soggy, wait until the top is nice and brown, that way, you know it’s completely done, I saw that tip from another lady on this site,
I’m glad I took her advice!
-This was the best, I tell you!!! So friggin’ easy.
Hey, all you ladies who had soggy bread….geez ladies, just up the temp. a little next time and/or bake it longer!! What happens to egg when it’s cooked? It becomes solid. What happens if eggs are undercooked, yuk! It’s not that the bread is soggy, it’s because it’s not baked long enough in your oven. So dump the eggs on the bread and don’t worry about it!
I made a double batch, up the oven temp. a few degrees and baked about 15 minutes longer……perfect!!
-Thank you everybody for trying this recipe and leaving such great comments. It’s best using a loaf of French bread or something similar as it absorbed the milk mixture better. Also, add the milk mixture a little at a time. You want the bread wet but not swimming and soggy in liquid. I have tried it with strawberries and it’s delicious also. So try any fruit you like. Enjoy!
