Clean Up Stained Cutting Boards –
Make a paste of baking soda and 3% Hydrogen Peroxide (the kind you can find at the store). Place that over the stain and let sit for 10 or more minutes. Scrub and wash off.
Clean Stained Sinks –
Remove food stains, pot marks, and more by sprinkling baking soda into the sink and scrubbing it. Rinse when you’re done.
Clean Silverware Marks Off Dishes –
Make a paste of 3% Hydrogen Peroxide and baking soda. Place on the dish, and scrub. Wash when you’re done.
Clean Out Coffee & Tea Stains –
Fill cups, coffee pots, etc with water and add 1 Alka Seltzer tablet per 1 cup of water. Let soak 10 minutes or more, scrub, and wash out.
Remove Hard Water and Stains from Coffee Pots –
Fill coffee pot with water, add 1 tablet Alka Setlzer per 1 cup of water and let sit for 10 minutes or more. Scrub and wash out.
Remove Blood Stains –
Squirt 3% Hydrogen Peroxide onto the blood stain and let sit for 10 or more minutes. Blot with a damp cloth and see if your stain is gone, if not repeat until it is. Once the stain is gone – launder as usual.
Remove Ink Stains –
Squirt rubbing alcohol onto the ink stain and let it sit 10 minutes or more. Blot at the stain with a damp cloth and see if the ink is gone. If not repeat until the ink is removed. Once all of the ink is gone, launder.
Remove Deodorant Stains –
If you get deodorant onto your clothes, grab a clean dry cloth and rub the clothes the direction of the fabric until the stain is gone.
Grass, Mud, and Dirt Stains –
Place some Dawn dish soap onto those tough stains. Spread around to coat the whole stain and let it sit for 10 minutes or more. Lightly scrub at the stain to get the Dawn into the fabric. Launder and your stains will be gone.
Yellowing Arm Pit Stains –
Make a paste of 3% Hydrogen Peroxide and baking soda. Place onto the stain and let it sit for 10 minutes or more. Lightly scrub at the stain (a spoon or toothbrush works great). Shake off the paste and launder.
Remove Marker from Wood –
Place regular (not gel) toothpaste on a microfiber cloth and buff that marker right off the wood.
