Pineapple Whip

Even if you’ve never been to a Disney theme park, you know the lure of Dole Whip. This sweet and creamy frozen pineapple treat is a delicious hybrid of soft-serve and pineapple sorbet — but even better. No wonder it’s so often associated with a place where dreams come true.

Here’s the good news: There’s no travel required for our Disney-inspired pineapple whip. You just need five basic ingredients and a blender.

Just Five Ingredients
Combined with pineapple juice, lemon juice, coconut milk, and a spoonful of sugar, frozen pineapple is the key ingredient behind this vegan dessert’s soft and airy consistency. While you can certainly freeze your own pineapple chunks, it’s hard to beat the convenience of a purchased bag.

If you just can’t wait a minute longer, go ahead and dig your spoon in as soon as the pineapple whip is ready. But eat fast because it can get seriously melty. I recommend popping it into the freezer for about an hour, although no more than two, and it’ll keep that icy-cool soft-serve consistency without melting too quickly.
