INGREDIENTS
- 1 refrigerated pie crust round
- 2 cups pecan halves
- 12 oz jar hot fudge
- 3 eggs
- ⅓ cup brown sugar
- `¼ cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¾ cup mini chocolate chips
- Whipped cream for serving
PREPARATION
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F and fit the pie crust dough into a standard pie pan.
- Spoon the hot fudge into a large microwave-safe bowl and microwave for 30 seconds to soften.
- Add the brown sugar, heavy cream, eggs, vanilla and salt to the bowl and whisk to combine.
- Fold in the pecans and chocolate chips, then transfer mixture to the prepared pie dish.
- Bake for 30 minutes and then cover with foil and bake an additional 10-15 minutes or until the middle has set.
- Let the pie fully cool before slicing.
