I love plants; but really don’t have much of a green thumb. There are plenty of nice faux plants in stores; but many times the “potting soil” they are in looks so fake.
I found this technique of making faux dirt on Pinterest. It’s super easy and has a nice realistic look!
You will need a pot to place your faux plant into. This isn’t necessary to add faux dirt; but for this particular project I will be using it.
Befor starting, I placed the store bought potted faux plant into my terracotta pot. This helped me gage the final placement of the faux dirt.

Carefully remove your faux stems from the original container, and put aside.
