A lady at my church made these for snacks for the VBS leaders last summer and I fell head-over-heels for them! They are amazing! So sweet and creamy, they just melt in your mouth!
-These are so great! But I have to tell you what happened when I took them to work with me. One gal took the recipe and mentioned that when she made them she added a layer of seedless raspberry jam between the crust and cream cheese layer. So I tried it. Wow! Got rave reviews! Very easy way to make a fancy dessert!
-I love these things. I find them even better after refrigerating them over night. I trid a variation of recipe. Skipped the almond flavoring. In cream cheese section I powered some pecans and added about 1/8 C. Then toppled with chopped pecans. Rich and good too.
-Just joined this site. It’s the best site ever. I made these bars, shared with neighbors and now I am printing the recipe for everyone. My husband ate them for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It’s a really keeper. Loved them.
-just for my taste buds…I made these (lemon version) for our office Christmas Snack Day (going on right now). They are delicious but, I should have used about 1/2 tsp less of the lemon extract. (I doubled my recipe). They are still awesome, though~
