Homemade Bathroom Cleaner
Equal Parts Blue Dawn and White Vinegar
I use 1 cup of each.
I measure out my 1 c vinegar into a 2 c measuring cup.
Heat in the microwave for 1 minute, then pour in the dawn until the liquid level reaches 2 c.
Pour (using a funnel if you want) into a spray bottle.
I have found that combining them in the measuring cup means less dawn goes to waste and I don’t have to get out a spatula to make a huge soapy mess. 😉
I spray it on, let it sit for about 10 minutes, wipe it off using a kitchen sponge, and rinse with water. **Honesty alert: Depending on how long it’s been since I last cleaned the shower, I normally can use the soft side of a kitchen sponge….sometimes when I’ve been lazy, I need to use the scrubby side. But either way, I can’t say I have ever had to use any amount of elbow grease to get things cleaned up. 🙂
