Creamy Chicken Taco Dip

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 (8 0z) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 (1 oz) packet taco seasoning
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup shredded chicken
  • 1 ½ cups shredded Mexican blend cheese, divided
  • 1 (10 oz) can Rotel diced tomatoes with green chiles, drained
  • 1 (8 oz) can black beans, rinsed and drained
  • 2 teaspoons lime juice
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • Cilantro and additional green onions for garnish
  • Tortilla chips for serving
PREPARATION
  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F and lightly grease an 8×8 baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the cream cheese, sour cream, taco seasoning packet, and garlic.
  3. Add in the chicken, 1 cup of the cheese, tomatoes, beans, and green onions. Stir until fully incorporated.
  4. Transfer mixture to the prepared baking dish and top with the remaining ½ cup of cheese.
  5. Bake for 30 minutes or until bubbling. Serve hot!
