Project 1—Window Pane Fall Art
For this beautiful DIY home decor, check out blogger and hometalker Melissa Woods‘ awesome video tutorial.
To make this project, grab a Rustoleum Glass Marker here. You’ll also need a window (an antique works great) and some of your favorite photos.
Step 1: Prepare your window pane; thoroughly clean, sand and paint.
Step 2: With a dry erase marker, pen your favorite quote or saying.
Step 3: Flip the window over and using your Rustoleum Glass Marker, trace your quote from the other side.
Step 4: When it’s dry, wipe away the dry erase marker from the front of the glass.
Step 5: Hang and enjoy or share as a great keepsake gift!
Step 6: [Optional] Using an adhesive, stick pictures inside the pane as well, to add a collage to your charming sign.

Project 2—Burlap Window Welcome Sign
For this window sign, you’ll need any old window or picture frame with glass, some burlap, a staple gun, and our Hometalk material of the week: the Rustoleum Glass Marker.
Step 1: Lay your frame out on the burlap, and cut the burlap to size. Staple the burlap to the back of the frame. Remove any extra burlap.
Step 2: Flip the frame over and grab your Rustoleum Glass Marker, and write whatever message you wish to feature on your window sign.
The best part about this project is the freedom you have with your wording. Welcome your friends or inspire your family; either way, they’ll love this DIY project!
