A teacher at Burns Middle School was placed on administrative leave for asking the students to solve math problems that had some disturbing meaning and terminology. Here is the first question that appeared on the first math quiz of the school year for a group of eighth graders. Fox 10 reported that many parents were offended and that students were answering questions about drugs, guns, and prostitution!
If the students didn’t answer the questions, they could be held back the next year! Erica Hall first called the school to stop this and claims the teacher was writing questions about criminal activities because most of the students were black. Some students laughed at first, thinking it was a joke, but it wasn’t. You can see the entire list of inappropriate questions in the video below.
