Reese’s Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup Earthquake Cake

Ingredients:

1 Box Dark Chocolate Fudge Cake Mix (oil, eggs, water)

8oz softened cream cheese

1/2 cup softened butter

1/2 Creamy peanut butter

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

4 cups powdered sugar

1/2 cup chocolate chips

1 Cup miniature Reese’s peanut butter cups unwrapped and cut into halves

Directions:

Step 1: Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.

Step 2: Apply cooking spray in a 9×13-inch baking dish.

Step 3: In a big mixing bowl, add the cake mix, water, eggs, and oil. Whisk until well mixed.

Step 4: Transfer the cake mixture into the prepared baking dish. Evenly spread it on the bottom.

Step 5: In another mixing bowl, add butter, peanut butter, vanilla, and cream cheese. Stir until well mixed.

Step 6: Add 4 cups of powdered sugar into the mixture and stir every cup you add.

Step 7: Spread the cream cheese mixture on top of the chocolate mix.

Step 8: Sprinkle the chocolate chips and Reese’s peanut butter cup on top.

Step 9: Place inside the preheated oven and bake for 45 to 50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean after inserting in the middle of the cake.

Step 10: Remove from the oven and let it sit on a wire rack.

Step 11: Cut a slice and top it with vanilla ice cream.

Step 12: Serve the cake warm and enjoy!
