Kenai Alaska Cheese Dip

3 cups sharp cheddar cheese, grated
1 cup mayonnaise
1 (4 oz.) can diced green chiles
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/4-1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper, or to taste
Tortilla chips, garnish
Stir together cheddar cheese, mayonnaise and green chiles in a large bowl until combined.
Season with garlic powder, onion powder and cayenne pepper, if using.
Optional: refrigerate at least 15 minutes so flavors develop and blend.
Serve with tortilla chips or pretzels and enjoy!
