Italian Sub Bites

INGREDIENTS
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 (12 oz) jar roasted red pepper slices, drained
  • 1 (12 oz) jar peperoncinis, drained
  • 1/2 lb. ham, sliced thin
  • 1/2 lb. salami, sliced thin
  • 1/2 lb. sliced mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup fresh basil, chopped
PREPARATION
  1. In a small bowl, mix together cream cheese, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  2. On a large cutting board place two tortillas side by side with the edges overlapping by a few inches.
  3. Spread half the cream cheese mixture on the tortillas leaving a small border around the edges.
  4. Place a layer of ham on top of the cream cheese layer, followed by a layer of salami, then cheese.
  5. Sprinkle the peppers and basil on the lower two thirds, then tightly roll the wrap toward the top.
  6. Secure the seam with toothpicks. Use a sharp knife to slice the wrap into portions.
  7. Repeat process with remaining ingredients.
