How to Shrink Your Big Open Pores without Going to the Dermatologist

2. Plain Yogurt
Yogurt contains lactic acid and probiotics to remove the bad bacteria that can lead to acne. These substances can reduce pore size and even be used as a cleanser to dissolve and eliminate impurities hiding in the pores.
3. Baking Soda
This common kitchen ingredient can help balance the skin pH levels and get rid of dirt particles on the face. To use, mix two tablespoons of warm water and baking soda to create a paste. Apply the paste on your face and start massaging in circular motions. Rinse with cool water after 30 seconds. Repeat this treatment for a week. If you have sensitive skin, be careful with baking soda. Test on a small area first before applying on your entire face.

Before you try any of the treatments above, you should always make sure that your hands are clean. Wash your hands first every time you plan on touching your face. Some people have a habit of touching and picking their faces. If you’re among them, try to eliminate this habit or this will worsen the problem, particularly with the natural oils in your skin as they can be burdened by the dirt coming from your palms. Additionally, you should also avoid exposure to the sun for an extended period of time as this can lead to open pores due to the fact that the too much sun can damage your collagen.
