How to Easily Clean a Burnt or Scorched Pan and Make it Look New again

You’ll get a cleaner pan in less time and your shoulders will thank you for it, according to Apartment Therapy.

Cleaning the outside

Cleaning the inside of your pans is hard enough, trying to get the scorches and burns from the bottom of your pan, takes a little creativity. Try this tip from Wise Wife Soaps.

To start, grab a baking sheet and cover the bottom with white vinegar. Add 1 cup of baking soda to the vinegar.

Set your dirty pan into the fizzing mixture (quickly, so your pan gets the foaming action).

You’ll need to let this set for about 24 hours. The next day, remove your pan, and scrub the bottom with a bit of vinegar and baking soda.

The bottoms of your pans will look brand new (and you’ll have done hardly any of the work!)
