GRANDMOTHER’S FAVORITE PEACH COBBLER

This has got to be one of the best peach cobblers I have ever tasted. My daughter wanted to try to make a cobbler from scatch and I suggested search Zaar. She found this recipe and used fresh peaches instead of canned. It did take about 10 minutes longer to cook but the results were wonderful. It has a very buttery tasting crust that practically melts in your mouth. Thanks for the recipe. My daughter was very proud of her efforts.

A lovely and easy recipe that provides delicious results every time! I’ve made this version several times before making several changes in order to create a healthier option. Using Truvia Baking Mix rather than sugar, and a mix of 1/2c. all purpose flour with 1/4c. coconut flour and 1/4c. buckwheat flour results in just as tasty a dessert, but a huge reduction in calories and carbs, and an increase in healthy fats and fibre. Nutritional breakdown per serving (1/12 of pan) is 66 calories, 22 carbs and 3.6g fibre. Also, I used fresh peaches, and a handful of blueberries in my healthier version.
