The third drawer before picture: This one was the messiest of them all! We have a lot of thermometers, and they didn’t have a home. This bamboo divider was shorter than the other two because I found it at a discount store. Since it was shorter, the things on the right side would fall over the top and land on the other side. Bummer.
First, I cleaned out the drawers, cleaned the liner by throwing away the crumbs and washing them. I also wiped down the drawers. I then added them back into the drawers. I used soap and water and then dried the front and the back. It cleaned up nicely.
I then looked and divided the items into piles to determine my additional sections in the second and third drawers.
After I removed the peg to release the pressure, I held it in place and allowed the spring to release inside the drawer. I did this with all three drawers in the exact areas specific to the drawers and their items.
On the second and third drawers, I added the additional dividers so to subdivide the sections for the different items.
This label maker has several symbols, so I used the arrows to help others know the section of the drawer that the items below are in.
I pulled out my label maker, added an arrow, wrote the section names, and adhered to my new bamboo pressure drawer dividers.
It looks great and is staying so much more organized.
The labels help other family members who are on dishwasher duty to put things away in the proper place, making it easier for me to grab them when cooking. Yay!
Then, I added the items back into the sections.
The first drawer was reorganized!
The Second Drawer was reorganized! These new bamboo dividers have slits, making it super easy to create other sections in the drawer. I love how the labels look and that I had room to have the jar grips in one section.
The third drawer was reorganized! This drawer is my favorite. I love that my food probes and thermometers are in one place now. And, because this is almost as tall as my drawer sides, nothing is spilling over to the other side. Now it is so much more enjoyable to cook!
