INGREDIENTS
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 cup brown sugar
- ¾ cup unsalted butter, room temperature
- 4 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon nutmeg
- ½ teaspoon cloves
- ½ teaspoon ginger
PREPARATION
- Stir flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, milk, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, ginger in a large bowl.
- Knead in butter and continue to mix until combined, about 5 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Scoop out 1 tablespoon-sized portion of dough and roll into a ball. Place each rolled ball evenly spaced on the cookie sheet.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes. Cool on a wire rack.
