1 box yellow cake mix
1/2 cup melted butter
2 cans of cherry pie filling
1. Mix butter, cake mix together – it’ll look pretty clumpy.
2. Spray the slow cooker with cooking spray, and pour the pie filling in, and spread the cake mix right on top. You can also just dump in the filling, then pour over cake mix and melted butter without mixing in a separate bowl.
3. Crank it up high for 2 hours.
4. Serve with vanilla ice cream right on top, or a dollop of fresh whipped cream.
You can make your own whipped cream by whisking heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla into an ice cold mixing bowl on medium for about a minute. Super easy, and absolutely delicious to have your own fresh cream.
