Turmeric has been popularly used as a facial hair removal ingredient and hair growth inhibitor due to a compound called curcumin. Generally, it works best for fine hair, but it might not be effective in removing thick or coarse hair.
Create a turmeric paste by soaking the powder in water. After mixing it well, simply massage the turmeric paste all over your face. Leave it for five to 10 minutes before rinsing the paste off with lukewarm water. Repeat this process at least two times a week.
Some women combine turmeric with milk, instead of water, for a suppler skin. This spice, however, might temporarily make your skin yellow, so it’s also a good idea to put on a baking soda paste to lessen the discoloration.
